Heating oil prices tend to rise during the winter months
because of a strong seasonal demand and unpredictable market
conditions. To better prepare for upcoming winters, Hartmann
Oil Company offers a Price Protection Plan with to meet your
needs. Price protection is in effect from October 1st
through May 31st covering
Home
Heating
Oil, Mobile Home Heating
Blend, Propane, and
K-1
Kerosene.
Basic Price Protection Plan
Buy your heating
fuel at a pre-determined price before the next heating
season. Then, regardless of how high oil prices rise during
winter months your account will never be charged more than
the pre-determined price. Price-protected deliveries are
made until the pre-purchased gallons are exhausted, or
May 31st.

This
plan is the same as our
Basic Price Protection Plan with the
following exception. If Hartmann Oil Company’s retail price
is less than your pre-determined cap price on the day of
your delivery your account will be charged the lower price.
* At the end of the heating
season any credit balance in your account will be refunded
to you or rolled over into next year’s plan. Customers must
choose the "automatic delivery" option to be eligible for
refunds. All plans require a 300 gallon minimum.
